Using Time-to-Event Model in Seed Germination Test to Evaluate Maturity during Cow Dung Composting

چکیده

Maturity is a matter of concern for the utilization livestock manures after composting because phytotoxicity immature compost. The seed germination test widely used evaluating maturity However, process was not studied by establishing model maturity. Here, we established time-to-event data proportion over time in with cow dung compost at different times. Results show that profile Chinese cabbage (Brassica rapa L.) and garden cress (Lepidium sativum were both well described model. Seed delayed composts early stage from parameter t50 (half time) Parameter significantly negatively related to radicle length (RL), which indicated there an organic relationship between (i.e., emergence) elongation. In conclusion, can hinder elongation delaying germination.

Comparison of time to the event and nonlinear regression models in the analysis of germination data

Extended abstract   Introduction: Numerous studies are being carried out to reveal the effects of different treatments on the germination of seeds from various plants. The most commonly used method of analysis is the nonlinear regression which estimates germination parameters. Although the nonlinear regression has been performed based on different models, some serious problems in its structure...

Munnoli & Bhosle: Effect of Soil and Cow Dung Proportion on Vermi-composting

Use of earthworm species to biodegrade various substrates (industrial wastes, agricultural residues, etc.) for composting has proven to be successful after initial stabilization of vermi beds. This study presents optimization of vermi beds (soil + cowdung) for culturing of earthworms (Eisenia fetida, Eudrilus eugeniae, and Megascolex megascolex.). Optimum proportion of soil + cowdung (1:3) for ...

Effect of Water and Temperature on Seed Germination and Emergence as a Seed Hydrothermal Time Model

The physiological process of germination depends on several environmental factors such as temperature, water potential, light, nutrients and smoke. Water and temperature are determinant factors for seed germination. Both factors can, separately or jointly, affect the germination percentage and germination rate. The effect of temperature on germination and water potential on germination canoften...

Microbial Dynamics during Anaerobic Digestion of Cow Dung

The anaerobic digestion of cow dung was investigated for 30days in a laboratory scale batch reactor. Totally nine bacterial strains were isolated from cow dung slurry. The bacterial isolates were preliminarily examined by morphological characteristics and they were further confirmed by 16S rRNA sequencing and analyzed through BLAST. Microbial dynamics showed that hydrolytic bacterial population...
